ОДНОРОДНОСТЬ И НЕОДНОРОДНОСТЬ

Homogeneity and Heterogeneity

According to the principle of homogeneity postulated by Kant the special concepts must have something in common, this common quality classing them under a common generic concept. The principle of heterogeneity, on the other hand, requires that special concepts classed under the same generic concept should differ. The modern interpretation of homogeneity forbids the classification of heterogeneous principles within the framework of one theory. Violation of this principle leads to eclecticism.
